Is Anthem still on the warpath to cut its way to profitability? I am one of the victims of that war, I was laid off a year ago. I'm not complaining, though, it was the best thing that could have happened to me. I was too much of a coward to quit, but since the company forced my hand, I was able to find a better job with better pay and so much better work environment. It didn't seem so at the time, but the company ended up doing me a favor.

I’m willing to entertain a pay cut to leave. I’ve never been so disappointed in an employer - over the past decade, it went from being a place I was proud to work, to being a place I’m embarrassed of. All of the gaslighting and power plays….at the end of the day, they only care about executives and majority shareholders.
If it’s possible to have PTSD from a job, I have it from the things I’ve seen over the past five years. The moral and ethical corruption…it’s sickening.
I left, and doubled my salary, my peace, my sleep, my daily joy and oh so much more. If despair brought you to this forum, just know there are better times ahead.
Me too. I left the company and doubled my salary.
