Thread regarding CenturyLink layoffs

COLA

It's time this company starts adjusting their pay scales by a COLA. With the great resignation going on, the employees need their pay adjusted. When ypu look at job postings, they list minimum and maximum, but employees are only paid barely above minimum on that scale. So why bother to list maximum pay on jobs if it's NEVER given out? There is a great disparity between male and female pay scales even though women are often raising children single handed and getting paid nominally less than male counterparts. Raise the pay scale and let management sit for 10 years without a pay increase riding on the backs of lower paid employees. Its going to be a revolt soon like Kellog and John Deere.

The great resignation is only a short term.
Once the free money runs out, they all will be come running for whatever jobs are available. Last one looking will be scraping the bottom grad to have a job.
There are better jobs out there. Are you qualified for it.

Btw, how’s that 4th Industrial demolition working out for ya? Selling the company assets to stay afloat! Brilliant leaders!

A great underachiever? According to whom? Managers in that company all take the credit for the people below them and then hose the employees too prevent them from getting any cash! Prove me wrong!? Happened to me on many bonuses. Hence, see ya! I wasn’t there to boost Managements ego or slave to the careless executives in that dump! For what? A dead end job?! Please!

Want to add, the board signed off on those 2021 Executive bonuses…appreciate your hard work for being an “essential worker”, have a wonderful Holiday season. Be sure to get rested and ready to come back to see what else they will take away from the working class to help justify their 2022 bonuses…lets see how high we can get this sliding scale bonus for all these great leaders we have!

Sounds like you need to unionize ;)))))…good luck getting any COLA adjustments ever again! For those that remember, annual COLA adjustments were built into the pay scale….now they just refer to it as PFP (pay for performance) which is completely subjective based on whatever numbers they want to create to justify or unjustly justify their pompous decisions. Meanwhile your Executive team is trying to justify annualized bonuses(bonuses are built into their pay scale, just on a sliding scale) of 120% because they did such a fantastic job managing the business, all while capping pay scales and endless forced layoffs! I, for one, cannot wait to see how much they will be asking for once (if?) the company actually becomes profitable :0 Makes you want to come in and bust a** for ‘‘em doesn’t it?!?
