Unfortunately, I can't find a new job and chances are that the situation here will get even worse? Whoever I talk to, no one has even the slightest optimism that there could be any improvements.

Please let’s not talk about the fancy high salaries us manager, manage the managers make in the WL/DS @ WHR. We work really hard when the high brass rolls thru. We have developed nothing but we can make you think we know everything about the PL.
if you are working in the cool and fancy new digital great stuff (foresite 4.9 or whateva) then you may be in a good standing but those in the 'catch up' PLs like wireline and DS are gonna be in the dust bin but some are on very fancy high salaries in the international MENA area
Why would anything improve? Wft can slip beneath the waves and no one would notice
They really don’t care about anything but the numbers for Wall Street. Hope you’re in a profitable core BU that has set income or contracts extending past 6 months with considerable PM. 2022 will still show more shutdowns and layoffs.
Unless your over 61 years old, you can find a new job! Quit using excuses.
