Thread regarding Optum layoffs

I'm even more anxious now

People here were talking about layoffs, my colleagues were talking about layoffs, I was mentally preparing to hear the bad news. However, there were no layoffs last week or the week before. I'm even more anxious now. Could it be that Optum will choose the worst possible date for cuts, right before Christmas/ New Year's? I can't relax thinking about this. Uncertainty is the worst.

What happened to the healthpartner duhvita thing? Where did all those singing, wig wearing, mission aim shouting, dancing boomers and simps go?

Maybe wear several masks, a face shield, gloves, and astronaut suit that way you can go back to the US corporate plantation?

The reason why many are so anxiety ridden, anxious, on Rx meds, etc.. is bc of US empire employment at will-whim doctrine. You can be "let go" anytime, no notice, for anything or nothing. usa, usa! Debt slavery, fear, and endless MSM propaganda are great controls of the masses

On December 3rd they put all people unvaccinated on 30 days unpaid leave and on January 3rd all will be fired if still unvaccinated. The merger with Change Health will require some layoffs I was told before I resigned this week.

I left 2 months ago. No more anxiety, I sleep at night and I'm just a helluva lot happier. No job is worth anxiety. Keep your chin up and keep looking for something else, you'll be glad you did.

Try candles, lemon ginger tea, meditating, and doing yoga. Forget talking to the boss girl. Most are more anxious that you. With all the above, however, at the end of the day, the corporation still remained with that constant source of anxiety and fear. Toxic oligarchy. A bunch of hamsters trying to get to the top of the dung pile.

Do not be anxious. Just leave. No sense living a life filled with fear, propaganda, and worry. Start living and leave that horrible place behind.

The US empire has NO employments. Zero. Employment at whim. Thank unfettered capitalism and US worship of corporations/imperialism

Optum doesn't give a rat's a-- about you or your family which is why they prefer to do layoffs just right before Christmas/New Year. You are just a number and an expense to them, they will do whatever it takes to cut costs to make things look nice for the new fiscal year.

Look on the bright side though: if they do lay you off, they'll be doing you a favor. Being an Optum $lave is nothing to write home about.

Likely not doing larger scale layoffs. The vaccine mandate has hurt staffing levels more than they thought.
