Thread regarding Honeywell International Inc. layoffs

Pulse survey UP UP UP !!!

K. Matersmore apparently does not understand “margin of error” for surveys.

They took a few questions (different than first) rated on scale 1 to 5? If I recall … maybe different. Definitely not the scale 1-100 they report. Goes up 1 point (in a hundred?) and they claim across the board victory. Of course maybe it isn’t 100… maybe just some made up metric entirely with no meaning at all.

These guys must have worked for the board of education. Sounds like the same math they use to grade final exams in American public schools. They start with the average they want and curve fit the results to match.

Lies, damned lies, and statistics. Only Honeywell exec losers would celebrate a dismal increase in their phone boloney "survey". Tone deaf fools that should be fired for complete incompetency at the highest levels. Maybe someone should publish this po-p stew nonsense to Wall Street and see what kind of sewage spin Kramer puts on it. That would be top entertainment.

Speaking of the 19th ave and deer valley buildings ... add a little barbed wire on the top of the chain link fence and you'd think you're walking into a prison complex :-) (And in some ways, I suppose you are!). They can't even bring themselves to spruce up the faded paint on the thin Honeywell-red stripe around the gray cement North/South Court building.

I bet the new corporate headquarters in Charlotte is just the cat's meow though.

Hr bends the data because they have to prove they are doing something to DA and MM. Its kinda funny because DA and MM would never do anything to improve the place, they do however improve the cash in their pockets.

@1hdt You seem upset. Why do you even care?

The numbers are always skewed when you remove the 20% at the bottom for having poor responses. Stats can be manipulated any way the company paying for them wants them to be! Bunch of lying wankers

Whoever thinks all survey replies were “ honest” responses of reality at HW? Puking continues

Joke survey from a joke company run by woke losers. Nobody gives a flying fook about your survey results. These nonners have been working from home the last two years and they want to tell us how great things are going. GTFOH.

What was the scale that was reported? The percentage of responses rated 3 or higher? There was nothing to celebrate here. These would be failing grades for most schools in America. The numbers were also artificially high, since many people did not participate as they felt the survey was not sufficiently anonymous, and others were not honest since they felt there might be repercussions for overly negative responses. Where is the transparency? Why don't they share the distribution of ratings? Why does leadership get to see the comments but not the employees? Why don't employees have input into the survey questions? The whole thing is a farce and just a vehicle for the company to say that everything is fine when it clearly isn't.

As I recall, the questions were also poorly worded/who cares. Excited about Honeywell future, sense of belonging, deliver great customer experience.

How about asking If the bathrooms always smell (yes they do), if the appearance of the facility is symbolic of the state of the company (referring to 19th ave and deer valley - chipping/faded paint, rampant weeds, dead trees, etc), the fake unlimited vacation, etc.

Worst part is the attempt to celebrate a 1% change.. do I get a MIP for 1percent ?

Guess those IT automations really weren’t the root cause of Honeywell employee issues.

No way the numbers are true. Everyone on the team I'm on said they went lower this year Not necessarily horrible but lower.

No sense being honest when leadership can't be.

I had several political science classes in college many years ago. I remember discussions & examples in those classes about "bending the data to support your narrative". Both parties of our government are prime examples of this. 😁
