NS plans to “dramatically” expand conductor training class sizes in the first quarter of 2022, as well as increase its hiring rate to counter higher attrition levels.

Actually I’m just getting started. You must have left your stamina back in the 60’s with your youth cause you sure don’t bring anything to the table these days. Unions have their place in the process, but it all comes down to who is appointed to the PEB and how much influence someone has with that person. So you “know” I’m just a “green boy” lol. Wrong! The fight never ends. What you personally think is “good” doesn’t matter. We are a unionized workforce and we negotiate as a team. Your paid union dues is your endorsement of the process. The next contract will be here soon and it will be passed on your behalf by your union representatives regardless of any votes cast by the rank and file members.

If you want your idea of a “good” contract passed, then maybe try sliding your union reps some extra cash?
