"A lot of large organizations are asking for employees to be vaccinated so good luck on your journey. Also, if you are financially ok, why did you continue to work for an organization that you dislike? Make it make sense."
Please tell me where I said I disliked the company prior to their vaccine mandate? You clearly are obtuse. Therefore let me repeat this slowly for you: I.....was.....ok.....with.....TIAA.....up.....UNTIL.....they.....passed.....this.....ridiculous.....vaccine.....requirement.
So upon learning of their decision, I also made a decision of my own as well. Aren't you pro-vaxxers always taunting the unvaccinated that we have "freedom of choice" and how "no one's forcing you". Well exactly, so my DECISION was to not comply and allow them to "exit" me.
And by "financially ok" I meant that I am grateful that I actually have the option NOT to comply and can wait it out until I'm eventually let go. And will be able to sustain myself for a lengthy period of time. (It's no different than when RIF's are announced at a company and some people freak completely out because they know they're not in the best place financially and/or they haven't been with the company long enough to get a good severance package, so they worry how long it'll take them to find another job and if they'll be able to stay afloat until then. While others are not in the slightest bit concerned because they qualify for a great severance package and/or have a nice emergency savings and know they'll be just fine).
I know there'll be people that felt they have no choice and either have already or plan to go ahead and give in and get the shot. And no one should have to feel that their back is against the wall.
Careful there, you sound a bit miserable. Perhaps your almighty and ever-powerful vaccine is beginning to wane and affect your sensibilities. Oh but no worries, you were automatically enrolled in the lifetime Booster Club. I'll stop talking now and let you go so you can roll up that sleeve now and forever more. Cheers!!!
