Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

Will ATT slowly start reducing our benefits?

I am a little worried about how the situation will develop in the future in terms of benefits.

START ??? When first employed by Pacific Bell in the mid 90’s we had full medical, dental, vision paid by the company. We also
received a team award bonus every year in the amount of $3,000 or more. Then the cowboys took over! SBC . Stewed By Cowboys!

Wow not only a fully woke workforce, but one without common sense. Progressive corporations never give. They always take. You fit right in. They have you right where they want you…

No they won't reduce most of the benefits. They'll just put the screws to you on cost. GFL

Benefits have gone up

Additional holidays
More pto for people in first couple of years employment
Company match on the 401k went up. For those of us without a pension.
The HSA match, you can elect to have that in a different sort of account. I think to help things like student loans. I didn’t read that since I like the HSA

Only benefit I’ve seen is price increases everywhere. At least we still get 50% off services. I fully expect the 401k match to go from 6% down to 3% at some point. About the only good benefit we have left.

What is left to cut? PDO's, 401K match, can you think of anything else that has value? Healthcare costs are largely supported by employees.

They should remove the employee discount for phone lines. If the service is so good, employees will be honored to pay full price.

Execs should pay triple price, because they have so much pride of ownership for the services that they are executing.

Old folks would say wake up and smell the coffee, writing is on the wall. Name one year when benefits increased (for all), I'll wait.....OK name one year where everything stayed the same.
