Has anyone seen a vision, roadmap or strategy lately? Where is Centene going? How do they plan to get there?
I used to believe in our purpose and felt proud to be part of this team. Now I feel like we are floundering without plans. My team will continue to deliver great work because we are passionate about what we do but it’s not clear how we fit into the broader plan.
Do others feel this way?
The fact that Neidorff is being retired and the board, which has to select a new CEO, is in the middle of a changeover, indicates the confusion will continue. Also assured that the activist investor group that kicked this off will be squeezing for every penny, so expect selloffs, no raises, and layoffs.
They are certainly making it up as they go. Unfortunately getting more and more out of touch with their employees in the process.
I thought their plan was to be a Frankenstein of different acquired and poorly sown together health plans and companies.
In that sense they have done a great job!
