Any word on the discount going away?

I plan to enjoy my next 11 days of DTV. Then I cut the cord. Not paying full price for this service.
If T creates this much frustration and confusion for its employees just imagine how the customers feel and are treated. I literally roll my eyes every time management utters the words “Customer Service”. The only reason I have any services with “my” company is because of discounts. As the discounts go away I will switch to other providers. T has proven they don’t give a damn about customers, so I will take my chances elsewhere if I have to pay full price. Management is so out of touch with reality that they don’t understand/care that the employees could be the company’s biggest advocates and best spokesmen, instead we are the biggest critics and loudest detractors. In the words of Sir Richard Branson…..”Customers don’t come first, Employees come first. If you take care of your employees they will take care of your customers”.
We get annual bonuses in December?
T/DTV is probably sponsoring the Super Bowl and wants as many viewers as possible on their platform. Plus they’ll want to push off the massive number of disconnects until after 1Q results. Hey, maybe you’ll even keep DTV since you just got your annual bonus and you’re feeling rich!
Even tho it’s clear on every town hall that it’s causing employees additional stress, they won’t tell us the plan. That says a lot right there.
All video service benefits end in March.
the employee "perk" or video was removed from the compensation section of OneStop around 12/1. Employees may not select a new package for streaming or Satellite services. Existing employee discounts will be unchanged until further notice

I emailed the box listed on hronestop in the video section and they said it is extended until March 2022, and then will only be for DirecTV management.
It’s gone 12-31-21
The plan is to to roll out benefit reductions over time.
Of course Toxic T will take another opportunity to S C R E W over their employees and slam them for the new $150 "discounted" price without telling anyone the new price.
I have my bill on a credit card. They can bill it, but I will cancel it, then dispute it when they do. I wonder who will win?
Assume the same situation with uverse - rates going up and employee/retiree discounts removed?
There was supposed to be notification on 11-30 for a 60 day advance notice but that didnt' happen for who knows why, lastest info is that it will be re-evaulated in January.
Received the same email, smh. They have the ba--s to raise prices but don't have the ba--s to include the new price. This is how premium the brand is.
Yep I received an email saying my rate is going up beginning Jan but nothing about discount going away. I’m sure it is and that they won’t update the employee website until after the fact and after they slam us all with a $150 bill. I don’t even watch it and should probably cancel anyway. Right now I’m paying 10 bucks for something I don’t even watch.

And there's a price increase for Directv Stream 1-1-2022.

Employees who were already enrolled in a video discount when DIRECTV transitioned to a standalone entity will continue to receive their discount through the end of 2021.
The sudden, short notice being planned is designed to serve as a real world CP22 course to teach employees what T customer service is really like.
Supposedly soon on the notification...lol, with little time to make changes or move to another company. Just got my email about Digital Life sunsetting in early 2022, so par for the course.
