Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

What Is Wrong With This Picture?

Stock Share Price Appreciation:

10 Year 20Year

AT&T: - 23% -40%
Verizon: + 31% +20%
T Mobile: + 579%

Two of these organizations have made their shareholders money, one a whole lot of money. Everything AT&T touches, OTOH, has turned to shtt.

This company has lost money and destroyed shareholder value year after year after year for over two decades now. I think it's obvious it's time to clean out the barn and start with an entirely new management team.

Get yourself some reading comprehension @eup+1eimkw9G . He said TMOBILE has been successful, not AT&T. The biggest reason TMOBILE has been successful is because the idi0t running AT&T gave them five billion dollars and they have competent management.

If T is soooo successful as the picture you just painted, then why does it still have $155B in debt and the only stock that has never fully recovered to pre-pandemic rates...it closed today at $22.29 and still falling!

@yfk+1eimkw9G The Rat's $5 Billion dollar gift to T Mobile was the best investment he ever made. In fact, the only successful investment the clown ever made. Too bad he couldn't be as successful in building his own company.

Unless you are a graduate of Trump University, it is hard to comprehend the biggly ideas that are happening. Some people are saying that Stanky and the executives are some of the smartest business minds we have ever seen. They know words, the best words, and our success proves their competence. All the naysayers are just spreading fake news. We have more customers than any phone company ever. Our crowds waiting to get In the stores are the largest anyone has ever seen. Any pictures that show empty stores and low supporter I mean customer turnout is fake news put out by the fake news liberal media.

As Gordon Gekko said, management has no stake in the company. This has been a gravy train for Stephenson and Stankey! Both have seen dramatic increases in compensation and perks while simultaneously destroying shareholder value!!!

Looks like we should have invested in T-Mobile and Verizon. Any other stocks we should have invested in instead of AT&T?

whats wrong is three things

  1. the same leadership for ten plus years - led by stankey
  2. the same crony board that rubber stamps every stupid idea above comes up with
  3. this is whats wrong with every big company - executive bonuses are paid on expense reductions - expense reductions equals firing people
