Thread regarding Chevron Corp. layoffs

Christmas Party? Celebrations?

How is the culture within everyone's office? For example, do they have like Christmas Party's or something along the lines? Or even something to celebrate a teams hard work? (pre-covid)

Please don't troll, just genuinely want to hear peoples opinions and what they have done in the past or currently still do.

Long standing tradition of employee only Christmas luncheons.

Not a celebration--- typically nice venue, decent food, one drink ticket and professional toned down talk.

SR will have their Christmas parties, everyone else will be told to 'watch your budget' and hand out $5 gift cards as a token of their appreciation for your hard work.

Those of us already back in the office, including most of the managers, have little celebrations each week at work during the month of Dec. The office is great with only 30% staff!

Rather spend my time at home then partying with people I work with.

What's "do they have like Christmas Party's" ?
We have had plenty of Christmas parties. many fun ones, plenty of booze and good food, some not so much. What's a "LIKE" Christmas party? Kwanzaa, Festivus?
