The Jan 6 layoffs we're postponed until September 16.
So Jan. 6 has come and went and nothing. Guess this poster is as big an id--t as as the great squires. Wait, I guess squires is better because he got paid millions to be one.

Actually it is 23000. They are laying the whole damn railroad off. All kidding aside. Not one job is safe. Any place can be idled tomorrow and everyone left go. They have proven that over and over.

There are students on the system. Maybe not at your location, but if your willing to move to have a job it's open depending on your contract and craft
Chattanooga has hired a few people off of the street to be electricians and machinist. Also rehired some of the other crafts people to be in those crafts. Alot of those furloughed are not coming back.
You're an id--t if you actually believe there are ANY students left at NS. There were people with at least 25 years furloughed.
Furloughed Carmen can displace upgraded students at another location. Unsure if machinists and electricians are the same.

PSR doesn’t stand for precision scheduled railroading. It stands for personnel staffing reduction. The whole idea has less to do with getting the right cars on the right train, reducing fuel etc. It has way more to do with getting rid of people.
Who can be believed here? Psr was a 3 year program 2019-2021 which the carrier announced to raise shareholder value reduction in employees would take place. These posts go back and forth between replacing lost positions and major cuts. What does it all really mean?
