Director: probably, but let’s talk about our scrum parody video that will really enhance the team as an opportunity to fill each other’s buckets and socialize teamwork.
Analyst: (thinking to himself) “I really got to get out this place.”
SF: why can’t retain these employees with the skillsets we need? We just don’t get it.
The answer is simple. Some jobs, have certain individuals that do their best when they are working alone, and don’t want to waste hours a day with “team nonsense”. Not every position has to have a “we are the best team rallies”.

Information Security only wants “yes men” as leadership. We have a lot of younger, qualified, articulate, and technical folks on the sideline that understand actual manager’s teams better than they do. A peer applied for a leadership position, didn’t get the position. Then that exact team had data leakage/breach weeks later.
I recently encountered a Director that did not know what an environment or API is.
I consistently speak with peers who plan to leave after the bonus and take their thousands of dollars of industry training and skills to higher paying jobs after the bonus. It’s the people we need to keep who are future leaders or leaders now instead of the waste currently at first line and most of second line. Information Security needs a Vivifi.

Yep ship is definitely sinking. Will gain over 2 million autos and 1 million fire policies this year. Will extend lead over Geico and Allstate and break even with Progressive. Capital strength almost twice of any competitor. What a dope.
Leadership doesn't have a clue how to fix it and if they did they won't because they will put themselves and their minions out of a job.
