Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

Super religious Pat

Does it bother you that Pat is super religious? It requires more faith to believe in Intel than on zombie Jesus, though...

Leave the man’s faith alone. A God-fearing CEO is a very good thing. Especially now.

No, it doesn’t and you should respect one’s faith. I’m not Christian or Catholic but I have no issue with anyone who is.

I hope the people working at Intel believe in Intel. It is nearly impossible to accomplish something you already decided you can’t do. Even if Intel doesn’t come out top dog in 10 years, it will still be better off if the people their work towards a better product.

meh, you can be data driven, you can have any faith. What crosses the line is when you actively choose to believe something that is demonstrably false. Then you are working for the father of lies.

It is dangerous is when you simply believe it is faith, nothing to do with evidence or common sense.

When you listen to Pat his belief in Intel destiny is indeed religious, very dangerous in a leader and in Intel’s case fatal. Failure down the current path is inevitable
