Thread regarding DXC Technology layoffs

Why do you keep crying about a raise hike

DXC lost 200 million last quarter and about the same the previous quarter

DXC costs are higher than their revenue by about 10% that means they've got to let go 10% of something

Your skills are dated that's why they are hiring contractors and converting those contractors to employees who make more money than you

Thank God all those dead weight EDS people continue to get fired how many of them were not billable and did not bring in the revenue to cover their cost

41 layers of management at EDS how freaking stupid was this

You're not getting a raise so go out and start your own business out of your garage do something else you don't have a good future here unless you are young and you take a low salary

Old guys don't have a future here move on

To who ever said "Old guys don't have a future here move on", we run circles around you younger think you know it all guys. You have certifications but still come to us that don't have them top ask real world questions. There is book learning and on the job, and on the job always wins.

We need both young "think you know it all" and older workers to work together.

Lol Mike, Vinny, and Mary got 50%+ rises, hasn't produced any growth for DXC yet in 2.5 years so far.

Are they entitled to such rises, and only them?

FWIW APAC is in the toilet and its run by ex-CSC managers and/or people that couldn't make it at IBM. M1 was CSC, the steak-cutter was CSC, .

EDS hasn't existed for 13 years, so in your mind DXC's problem is with HPE people? Your post shows why DXC has a very real problem. Its a Kodak moment, competitors are eating DXCs lunch and you are looking backwards
