Can I volunteer? I'll be happy to take a package to leave and never look back. I know I'm far from the only one. This would be an easy way to reduce the workforce while not affecting those who can't afford to lose their jobs or who still, for some inexplicit reason, like working here.

They give a fresh week of sick time on January first…. Floating holiday too….use it all ASAP.

im begging them to send me boxes to pick up all my equipment… As i retired after 12 yrs. So unorganized, they can't figure out how to do that!!!!!
The layoff they want is of the unvaxxed where they can fire for 'cause' and no package/no vacation accrued.
I'd bide your time till after 1 Jan and see what they do, especially if bonus eligible. Make sure you use all your 2021 vacation and sick time, if any left. Make sure your 2022 health insurance choices will be affordable on COBRA. And don't overspend for the holidays.
