My friend said she just got a 7K a raise today.. allegedly some people with tenure are getting an extra raise aside from the usual merit increase.. Does anyone know the criteria for this or did anyone else get a raise?

Do we have an “equity” spreadsheet now? If a black female who started yesterday is paid less than a white male, the only answer is racism, of course. Not the years they spent creating a replacement plantation workforce paid as little as possible to do as much as possible.
It’s illegal to instruct employees not to discuss compensation or benefits under both Illinois law and federal law. So if this is true I’d imagine they’re also instructing those getting the raises to keep it themselves. Pretty fu----g d-mb, but also pretty par for the course with the mo--ns running things at SF. Does someone there have an employment discrimination lawsuit fetish that’s driving these decisions? LOL
Considering that the ratings are meaningless and 3 is the new 2. Only 1 of 10 will be even eligible for this:
"To qualify you have to have two years in a row with a 4 level employee rating… in an effort to keep high performers from moving to greener pastures."
Those who are are already benefiting from wife swapping, defaulted credit card debt, and alcoholism per all previous threads.
Who is getting the “salary adjustment” at the end of December? It’s anybody know? Please clarify
Related to this question is the question of pay differences for the same job and expectation on metrics? So some people are getting paid significantly more
Is this bonus different from the EOY adjustment due to consultation of pay grades and from the EIP? Or is this bonus included in the EIP raise.
This raise does not have anything to do with the employees surveys.

SF is one of the few bumping up lower ranges on salaries - he-l in the jungle, but at least the jungle throws some green our way.
ALWAYS say you’re not getting paid fairly in surveys! Never ever tell them it’s satisfactory, even if it is!
Wow. Gimme some o dat!
This is true. Raises are available only for those who have received a level three rating in the last two years AND are below a certain percentage within the job class. They are doing this in an effort to retain talent, and management has been told not to discuss it. If you already make enough money, per their formula, you aren't eligible. This is a one-time deal and applies to less than 10 percent of us.
I had the same thing happen to me. I actually got double. They somehow saw my "profile" and realized I wasn't getting the market rate or something compared to my peers and bumped me up once (I don't remember the exact %). Then I got promoted a grade level. I found it kind of suspicious since on a survey I recently took I complained about the lack of pay compared to our competitors. It feels like hush money haha.
