Thread regarding Crown Castle International Corp. layoffs

More of the same

They really did say "some of you may die but that is a sacrifice I am willing to make." Right after that spiel on diversity too.

The stock hasn’t broken 190 since we were called out on the low small cell forecast so I’m thinking layoffs will be coming and you won’t have to worry about going back to the office.

If their goal is to compete with the big tech companies in terms of employee culture... why are they dragging us back to the office?

Then again all the tech job titles are automatically full remote if you check connect. The rest of us are replaceable I guess lol!

@bjie I think people are realizing that Crown has a flawed business model. No matter how much cash on hand and how much revenue comes in on the tower side, people know how much cash was burned buying fiber companies. Even with positive cash flow from towers, it will take 20 years to recover the money spent on fiber. Crown has been able to successfully cover up the losses from fiber but it’s only a matter of time before the cards fall.

The downgrade was probably so they can enter into a position on the stock at a discounted price. I wouldn’t read too much into that. Market manipulation by institutions just goes by the pretty name of “analyst opinion.”

How bout JP downgrading Crown and the stock dropping? I wonder how our execs feel about that. HA!

Too many chiefs. Top heavy. SVP’s only promoted because VP reporting to VP. No visible accomplishments for promotions. don’t need 4 layers (EVP, SVP, VP, Dir) to delegate work to people under. SVP or VP not both. What a mess. Flatten the org not fatten the org.

C suite is expected to make forward looking decisions that benefit CCI 5-20 years down the road couldn't see that going back to the office during Omicron isn't a great idea until a week before the deadline? Not surprising that some business segments are struggling with that lack of planning

Record high positivity rates across the country.

I can smell someone else's day old fisH over the cube dividers and I wonder what else is in the air.

Someone is going to bring covid back from the office to their kid, but God forbid we couldn't answer interstate Teams calls in our own homes instead of in the office.

The biggest joke of all is levendos. Fiber hasn’t made a dime of profit yet between his stock and salary, he’s a millionaire in the 3 years he’s been with us.

Yeah, I don’t think old Laura feels inflation the same way most of us do.

@2qty+1ebNfpht

She had a full "let them eat cake moment" saying we all feel inflation when we go to the store. Completely ignoring that in much of the country rent has been increased by 20%+

Donating to the United ne--o college fund wasn’t enough. They needed to make us listen to that stupid sh-t meanwhile the entire executive leadership team is as white as a ghost. Jay and Laura just need to stop with the nonsense and get back to real work.

That diversity and inclusion video was pure cringe. The soft sales voices were so terrible it felt like they were talking down to everyone. It felt like the video was shot on a moments notice and nobody had anything of substance to say. That was the worst improv video I have ever seen.

“ I was more amused by Laura’s comments on cost-of-living and inflation. That was pure comedic gold on her part!”

I missed that. What did that silly twit say?

If you're still scared of covid two years and a few vaccines in, you probably just need to stay in bed.
