Is it just me or is it just a lil’ odd that Valentines home MS merchandise came straight off the truck and was marked down to Last Act?
Orrrr that we JUST received mens socks with Christmas lights & candy canes on them…🤣🤔??? at full price???

Macy's is not going to want to sit on that Merch until next year. Better to get it out and mark it down.
All of retail had shipping delays but Macy's is the only one not doing anything to react. I am in buying and we asked planning for options to hold merchandise in warehouses and we were denied these requests. That is why Christmas merchandise is arriving in stores at the end of January. This is among the reasons I am looking for a new job. I promise you that we do not think it is right either but as you know with Macy's management.
It’s because of the shipping delays in Los Angeles. This is not a Macys challenge, but one for all retailers.
