I recently received a pending offer from USAA. The offer mentions a Holiday Bonus which is the equivalency of two weeks Base Pay if awarded by the USAA Chief Executive Officer. How regular has the company been paying out the holiday bonus in the past?

Don’t listen to pension guy that move was horrible the pension is fake it’s just 3% of your salary added to a pension account that earns like 1% they used to give you that or more into your 401k every year but changed it under Wayne for some reason
we got one every year
Holiday bonus has always been paid out. Bonus: I received 140% of target + 3 spot bonus each equating to 15% of annual salary.
USAA pays for performance. It takes care of high performing employees. If you come to do your job, great! Base pay + 60-90% target bonus + holiday bonus.
In all honesty, health benefits have gone down hill. Drastically. But that’s national (for the most part).
401k + pension, is GREAT. Invest!!
To the best of my knowledge it's always been paid out, it's just a formality that the CEO/Board approves it. Things would have to be really bad for them to not pay it out.
Now the annual bonus.. That's not guaranteed. The bonus amount in your offer is the Target bonus, which USAA hasn't hit in quite a few years. Last year it was 10.1% of salary or like 2/3rds of target. I'm not expecting a 100% target bonus this year. 70% to 90% probably, but I hope I'm wrong.
