So the very device created to keep sick people out of the building, is the reason you WANT me to drag azz outta bed and come in the building when I haver fever and other Covid symptoms??? To wave my hands at said device, and tell you face to face that I may be extremely contagious?? Honestly, you have got to be kidding me right?? Brilliant. Genius. Oh, and the couple of thousand drooling, MASKLESS members each day do not pose any danger to us. There are no sick people in that group. Move along, nothing to see here. It's truly hard to believe the policy makers sleep at night.

Meanwhile home office continues to work from home. God forbid they get sick. Afterall they are they ones bringing in the profits.... (sigh)
Our store only has the old fashioned thermometer. The team leads take our temperature before we start our shift. Unfortunately they put the thermometer in an uncomfortable place.
Ours never works so team leads take our temps when we come in.. it shows 95 sometimes because we’re right on out of the cold and they are ok with this… what is the point? Obviously our temperature isn’t 95… why even bother?!
If you have the symptoms, as you stated, do not go to work. Use call out line, Covid related as reason, call Sedgwick, get tested or use a home kit with a picture of result. Report results to Sedgwick. They will tell you how to handle from there. If your managers are telling you to come to work to take the health screen, they are wrong. If you have a fever and symptons, do not go into the Club or store.
No the pandemic is not nonsense, it's the policy makers putting profits over safety. Don't get it twisted...
To the OP yeah I don't know why anyone would tell you to come in. I came back recently from covid and called in. Wasn't a problem. I've had multiple people on my team out, it happens. Your higher ups just need to pull their heads out. Sorry you have to go through this, they need to lead by example.
the policy makers know the whole pandemic has been nonsense that is why so many inconsistencies... if there were real dangers there would be consistency
