Thread regarding Anthem Inc. layoffs

I left before my one year anniversary

I tried, I really did try but there is only so much one person can be expected to do - especially for what they were paying me. I see a lot of people complaining about older employees leaving but I can tell you from personal experience that those of us who got there recently are also leaving in droves. Anthem has little to offer anyone.

Anthem is going down hill. Lol. I mean the CEO doesn't know what to do most of the time.

The financial focus is on buying other companies, stock/dividend increases, and executive pay, not compensating lower level employees. If you are just starting out in your career, the only way to increase your pay at or more than the rising cost of living is to leave the company for higher pay. Don't kid yourself into thinking if you stay and work hard, you will eventually get what you are due.

I beg to differ only very slightly. Anthem actually has a lot to offer. It just chooses not to offer it.
