Thread regarding Optum layoffs

Selfish Management

The real reason they stopped bravos and barely give a bonus is due to the fact that the less they pay out the better management looks. They are worthless and should be laid off.... again!

Indoctrination and MSM brainwashing was very effective on the tax and debt slaves ("citizens") in the business enterprise masquerading as a "country"

The corporate world needs to be completely dismantled. Reset. Redo completely. Profits are unpaid wages.

Don't smile. Just leave. 7-8% inflation and you get a 2% "raise"??!?

That's a 5-6% LOSS on your gross income. Sickening. Who the heck would work there?!

Fyi, PG29, manager’s bonuses at this level are a joke, too. Those “big bonuses” don’t trickle down very far. So just know, your managers or manager’s managers are not happy with 1. What they get and 2. What they are giving you, either. But, we are told to do it with a smile and move on. And what choice is there, really? Move on? Easier said than done.

Time to leave is correctomundo!
Had coworker's husband who worked for the mega corporation for over 25 years. He moved his family for them. He worked out of the country for them. When the economy dipped they basically fired him with little to nothing to show for his work other than a pat on the back and a thank you for your service. @2 years later that same company posted record profits and awarded their higherups with huge bonuses, 5, 6, 7 figures. This guy risked not only his work career, but his family's life by leaving them to work, watching his kids grow up, missing life events all for the promise of a good retirement and corporate promises of someday yammer. His wife went back to work and he is working odd jobs to make ends meet. If that is not a risk I have no idea what is. Time to leave. It's disgusting here and won't change bc most of the populace willfully and gleefully wants what the US is offering.

I agree the corporate world needs some mending. However people mention why do you stay. Where does a person go that you dont have to deal with same BS. It's not that easy for some changing jobs especially in the middle of a pandemic. Not sure about anyone else but I much rather put up with the cr-p then consider having to go into an office only to find out that it's the same old cr-p. Does anyone have any other brilliant advice. Searching but sitting back to watch the empire crash I guess.

They tried everything but improve pay and conditions and they still can't figure out why no one in their right mind would work there or apply to work there unless their desperate. Peace to those with a backbone.

Agree completely. The more they give the workers--the more is taken out of the capitalists' pot. The employees-lackees are paying @50% or greater in taxes on the bonuses for 800 + overseas US military bases. It's a soulless, arrogant populace.

The more they pay out to you will mean less pay out for them. It's coming from the same pot and it's all about "them." Much of bonuses will go to taxes so it would be easy for them to give up cents so you guys can get a few more dollars after taxes - but no - they would rather get as much as possible and scr3w the hard-working folks.
