My ex wife was the exact opposite. She’d boast about my failures but never about my successes.
They only boast about wins and never mention failures. I mean who would because it makes them look bad. Anything that makes them look bad is swept under the rug and/or quietly disappears. Jim Vena left the company and i bet half the employees ever realized or knew or cared. Remember the arrow-wedge containers used to increase fuel economy. They used them for a few months for good PR like they actually care about the environment and slowly but surely started to quietly disappear.
If it wasn’t in the headlines, UP probably didn’t meet its goals.
