Thread regarding Xerox Corp. layoffs

I still can't get used to it

I've been gone from Xerox for nearly five months and I still have trouble getting used to the fact that my new boss is not a bully and doesn’t want to see me fail. The first time I received positive recognition from him, I nearly cried. That's how beat down I was by my former as----e manager. Folks, I can't emphasize strongly enough that there are better options available. You can still enjoy your job, you just need to leave the place that makes it its goal to make your work life a living he-l.

My new bosses (yes I left this horrid company) are off the charts amazing!!!! I Love my new job, I wish I left X years ago but was just lazy and complacent to look......those left, I am telling you, start looking, you may be pleasently surprised!!!

After reading a few of these posts and replies,I think I would rather empty a septic tank with a Dixie cup than work at Xerox.

I couldn't agree more there is a better work-life out there. I also needed to get used to having a great manager again after years of self-centered, egotistical ja----s managers in Xerox finance (and they're still there). I feel sorry for my colleagues still there and dealing with that every day. I hope they get a better opportunity soon.
