Realistic quotas

I think you will agree that quotas are mostly unrealistic. People are overwhelmed. Is it even possible to hope for realistic quotas or is the only solution to leave this ridiculous company?

I love that they're wasting they're own time downvoting posts. It shows that they have read and comprehended what we're all saying. Good confirmation that the message is getting through! Too bad it also shows thats how much they care about their employees.

Hi corporate shills! I hope vz is paying you for wasting your time down voting on here. Seems to happen whenever the comments are so true that greedy corporate leaders get upset. They can't allow these convos to happen. RIS sucks? Ohhh nooo no no ...we make money by taking it away from our reps- downvote downvote downvote...

God for bid they actually listened to their employees rather than finding more ways to blame them.

There is a store in my district ( northeast ) that is still in the negative for new lines against quota due to deactivations. It is quite possible the store will not hit the minimum threshold to make a check. I would think if that happened it would push people over the edge.

If you think it's unrealistic, it's like that by design.

Retail is so fu---d with how under staffed/over worked everyone is. If they gave reps individual quota back, sh-t would still be absurd, but at least you have some ability to control it. this team bu-----t is so demoralizing. why bother when over half your staff is out sick or even worse, doesn't even try? this isn't a sales organization anymore, its a clown show.

Is it really a quota when it's weighted mostly on surveys with sales taking the back seat on what actually pays you? Plus when a large part of it is left up to your team? I remember selling over 100 phone adds in some months pre2020covid; just to make a nice paycheck. Now I will do 1/6 of that if I even try. Quota in 2019 was getting so over the top that it was a joke most months. Then this year they have had to adjust our quota every single month in 2021 because they overshot it so much and outrageously. This year seems to be going no different. I honestly wouldn't mind if they ditched "commission" all together and rolled more into the hourly and just had spiffs for what ever the flavor of the month was. It's clear they just can't get it right.
