Thread regarding Sam's Club layoffs

No pay for covid exposure now

If you’re exposed to covid in your household with a confirmed case then you have to go on LOA for 5 days and it’s unpaid.

That’s just crazy.

You will get paid as long as you go in and fail the health screening. If you're vaccinated and have been exposed you can continue to work, you can get tested but if you're negative you have to go to work. No more I've been exposed and expect to get paid for it unless you test positive.

If people hadn’t milked the system, it wouldn’t have come to this. Thank your coworkers that took advantage.

OPer:

The point is: They’re forcing you the stay home and quarantine, even with negative test. Imagine missing a whole week of pay. That’s why it’s crazy.

My daughter and I both work together she tested positive we showed proof to our club manager and instead of sending me home to quarantine with or without pay they made me continue to work 4 days later I test positive so now how many people did I expose because my manager had me continue working

You should not get paid for it unless you have it

Just don’t tell them 😉. What they don’t know won’t hurt them. I’ve been around plenty of people at work that had it and never would have known if other associates wouldn’t have told me.
