Morale is zero. People I know who used to be very diligent now work the bare minimum. It's like nobody cares about their job here anymore?
I started sending applications when I realized that I wouldn’t care if they told me they didn’t need me anymore.

In it for the paycheck. Nothing more and nothing less. Seagate gets my time from 9 to 5. Outside of that ain’t no work going on. It’s a job and I’m another cog in the machine.
The ideal Seagate employee has just replied.
The reality is I am guessing is that you need Seagate more than it needs you because it does not need you !If your morale is low please jog on elsewhere.Working the bare minimum is not a bad thing either that way you can spend the extra time on things that interest you, realise that you working diligently will not make one bit of difference to Seagate.Do what suits yourself.
That’s the environment they fostered and promoted. Where Passionless robot like employees follow orders and keep quiet or face punishment. Nothing says we care about employees and want to help them succeed like a 6 year old laptop.
Welcome to the new Seagate. Been slowing going this way for some time.
