I have heard that wednesday is the big layoff day across the company. I know no more details.

One of 2 reasons I left last year after over a decade. Sick of constant annual layoffs and fear of job loss. 2 -constant loss of National account business and completely stagnant growth.
My group made some changes and a few people dismissed. That's all I have heard about.
So did it happen?
I haven't heard any noise. is this happening?

This apparently has to do with some teams having too little work to do with covid. There are efforts starting for staff redeployment but haven't been finalized yet. I wish everyone luck.
It's that time of year. It sucks to always have this hanging over our heads. I'm always surprised at the decisions on individuals, it always seems manager are always rushed to hand in names and don't think of the consequences.
Latest is mostly Operations will be affected.
I heard the 12th & 13th…they are spreading them out. But same here, no other info.
