Thread regarding Xerox Corp. layoffs

Xerox is...

Toxic corporate torture chamber.
Dumpster fire.
Flaming pile of dog sh-t.

Take whatever dignity you have left and get out now.

Well, the products are garbage and the management is useless. They have no clue what to do and most of the industry could do without them. Beyond that, its a wonderful place to place to leave. Anyone with an IQ above room temperature knows this and has either already retired or left here. At what point do you say "this is crazy and i have had enough" and move on to something else? If you're waiting for a good reason, i think you got it .

When I realized that Xerox was sinking, I made the mistake of letting my peers know my opinion and I agree that this is toxic, friends or not. It wasn't very professional of me. Here's an example why: some of my now ex-colleagues weren't in a position to leave. Say you're on board the Titanic and passing by the jail (yes, there was one) it wouldn't be charitable to say the ship's about to sink now would it?

Direct management doesn't give a damn either, at least not in my area.

Dumpster fire is most metaphorically applicable: no fire extinguisher big enough to stop it.

Anybody that feels this way should leave. You are toxic to the rest of us that actually want to be here.

Many still like our jobs and the people, even though the company pay and benefits are not keeping up. Xerox is far far from perfect, and while I don't believe Icahn or johnv give a damn about us, our direct management does.

I don't understand why anybody that feels that way stays when it's an employee market.
