Hoping senior management reads this post and address the concerns - but not really expecting solutions as that is not their style!
Considering working for Windstream?
If so would a 3% pay adjustment every three years (equating to 1% annual raise) policy excite you? This is one of the main driving attractions of working at Windstream and why you should join! Since this IS the policy, it should be stated openly to all thinking of joining Windstream unless there is a reason to avoid (We know it is not because of shame or guilt by leadership - so be open and honest of these embraced policies). Candidates should also confirm this detail when interviewing to avoid any surprises down the road.
We are proud to endorse tribal employee resource groups (ERGs) to distract from the fo-e mentioned policy as another Windstream perk. Windstream HR wants employees to segregate within the company based on identified affiliations! The 'work together hand in hand to succeed' utopian policies of the past have given way to our new strategy of "Together we will fail, but divided we can succeed"!
The CEO has openly espoused during company wide meetings that 'Windstream is Not a Prison'. Hence, there is no need to fear incarceration. Senior management is also telegraphing that repetitious employee concerns and issues obviously known to management will NEVER be addressed. Otherwise what was the point of making such a unproductive and divisive statement (which he even admitted such as he was saying it). In other words, know your position and station in life and don't get uppity when the unfairness becomes obvious - just leave - the doors are not locked!
