CVS seems to pay more than Anthem bc they offer more unique positions and don't make you become a manager in order to make the big bucks. Just an observation I notice. Anthem is all about manager hierarchy and nothing else.

CVS is not a good alternative... Just go to the CVS board on this site.
CVS business is also pharma and their profit margin is higher than insurance companies like Anthem.
If what is most important to you is salary, explore profit margins of industries and target those companies for employment
Any job pays more than this dumpster fire. My next job offered me double the salary for the same type of role so of course I jumped ship.
