It is better to be a manager at another company than at Allstate. I had a great manager who left. He was replaced by a person who was not a good fit for that position, but very quickly that person left as well. The current manager is visibly more and more nervous. Obviously managers aren't feeling very good here either?

No...we don't.
I've had more managers than years I've worked for the company. The turnover, reorganizations, etc is crazy
Managers don’t even know what’s around the corner anymore . It’s amazing the lack of transparency here! We’re so understaffed in claims right now it’s just pathetic. I feel bad for our customers and agents trying to retain insureds
That’s the Shapiro way ….don’t need experience any more just cheap labor overseas. He says they can be trained. Evil and anti-American tactics at work here.
My CSL got the boot 2 months after I got the boot in auto Aug 2020, he had a feeling it was coming but like everyone else no indication from the top. He was a good person always trying to juggle the suits wants and reality on the ground with his crew. Combined years of service between us over 40, the knowledge, training, and skill flushed down the drain. They seem to no longer want or need people that know what they are doing, know the policy inside and out, know how to treat people and policyholders in a respectful manor.
lol...my manager is never around anymore
I’ve been through 5 managers since the layoffs at the end of 2020. My current manager clearly doesn’t care about anyone but himself and is tone deaf when we, his direct reports offer suggestions how to improve processes, morale, etc.
The state of affairs around here is sad and I’m leaving the company soon. I choose to be proactive when he fails so miserably at it!
