As for the relocation, am not sure if it matters assuming they will pay for my relocation expenses. If that's the case, I really thought their office in Paradise, Nevada is in a great area/place to live at... unless am mistaken !?
the stress of people being laid off constantly isn't something that I think can live with. Salary increase is not an issue for me as long as I start with a very high salary, than I only want to catch up with inflation and that's it... am more interested in a career growth opportunity, than getting rich out of a job! Am happy with my level of income, and if they pay me well, then I can live with small merit increases just fine and wait for occasional promotions.... The only issue I see is being laid off... that's not something I can live with (It's hard for me to deal with such stresses).
I would assume that at some point employees or a group with people would take some actions and ask the company to stop this behavior.. at least for certain level of employees..... with all due respect for technicians and manufacturing workers, am more interested in the job security for engineers and researchers....... so am wondering if there is a difference in job security between engineers/researchers group of employee, and other lower grade or lower paid positions??? can someone weigh on here on this part?
