There is a lot of euphoria and drama about the vaccination mandate.
I have noticed that many forget that vaccination does not mean that one's job is safe.
Vaccinated ones may not be first on the layoff list, but even those of us who are vaccinated should always be prepared.
It won’t end until people have had enough, and there are too many who love being told what to do because they think they are being taken care of.
I am so tired of listening to the debate about vaccine mandates and was thinking that the upcoming Supreme Court ruling would put a stop to it, but I just read that the Supreme Court is just ruling on whether the mandate can be in place while this is being argued in the/a lower court (I know, where have I been). Will this never end!

The powers that be just want you to have a better life, get vaxxed, single payer health care, free housing, gum control, no smoking, healthy food, equal pay, free college and lots of illegal immigrants just like when I was in the big house.

3rd one some. But they are coming out with version 1.1 soon. So will Bill wait until then and start all over ?

Side effects are few & far in-between? Umm, not compared to the decades of info we have on real vaccines (you know, the ones that actually fully protect).
VAERS is the gov'ts own program, and acknowledged that cases are underreported to it. This site merely makes the numbers more presentable and easy to grasp.

Side affects are far and few between with covid vaccines. So few, that how often do you even hear about it on tv? Or radio? Or anywhere reputable on the internet? All this after millions doing their part and taking the shot.

Bill is neutered by the UAW so he takes his frustration out on the salaried employees. It’s a great way to reduce headcount though , which is what this is all about.
People should not have to risk side effects up to and including death to keep their job
I agree with @2yxi+1eEGlznd for the most part. IT is a wide area and some will be hit hard, EG those supporting the OS for boxes in our own data centers. Other areas won't be and may even be expanded. Everything directly supporting EV/AV, data collection/analytics and supporting using the Cloud platforms is the current hotness and the aligned with where JF thinks he's taking the company.
I disagree on one point - if you are in an old line area ( ICE vehicle development or legacy IT systems, or any back office function like accounting and financial that can be done anywhere I.e India) and over 40 with over 20 plus years in, your vax status is immaterial…..you are at the front of the line.
No other way to look at it, and vax status ain’t going to save you even if you literally have needles sticking out of you at your next Web Ex meeting. This is a nasty business, and if your area/group doesn’t figure in Ford + future plans, you should start looking or starting planning for retirement as it is just a matter of time between this year and 2023/2024. They need to get smaller and are moving to an entirely different skill set….
The only way to find out if seat belt/air bag can save your life is to verify it by crashing the vehicle hard.
Vax doesn’t even mean you’re safe , much less your job.
I'm so fed up with the current state of affairs that I'm thinking of retracting my vaccination status ;-)
