Sounds just like life at Shell. When did this fu---d up mentality take hold? Being good at your job doesn't matter. You gotta be a social media savvy Gen Z that knows how to check the boxes and get attention. Walk around, point, wink and click your tongue at everyone. And in US fit in the right demographic category.
Good to know XOM won't beat Shell based on skill. But they will beat Shell because their oil reserve deep pockets will carry their talentless pool a lot longer. Shell will burn out sooner.
