I'm thinking we're about to witness the kind of exodus of employees that can destroy a company.

Frontier ruined the Verizon synergy. Then they had the audacity to hire WIN reject. At least one quitting FTR then going back to WIN....then back again to FTR as a manager? Then TIER Ii hired from WIN over current employees....they got the WIN employees cheap. 26" spinner hubcaps in the parking lot from WIN in Allen. Ghetto.
There are 2 schools of thought:
Directors and Above(fantasy):
Do more with less.
Staff Managers and below(reality):
We need X amount of staff to complete soo many turns up.
I went though all of this a few mergers ago. There were times our skeleton crew had no one available for weekend support. Things always broke and we could not be on-call 2 weeks in a row including PTO. Those orders or tickets would always float upto our VP 1st thing monday. Myself and the other guy were all that was left from that team and we would get the call/e-mail asking why it sat all weekend. We would always reply that no one was available and he would blow his stack.
Morel of this story is it's happening again! Take a look around repair or service delivery. This place really is a joke and anyone who buys us is a su---r.
The company is already destroyed, by TT and his cronies. Attrition will just exacerbate layoffs and put more pressure on remaining employees, and Windstream customers who have no other options
I'm ready to take 20+ years of e experience and head for the door. Little to no chance of promotion if you ain't wearing your Windstream knee pads.
I've had fun interviewing with a couple of other carriers. Just waiting for the right opportunity to come along.
Maybe take my floating holidays and forget to come back.
Put me on the ready to leave list. The details I could provide would scare and enfuriate customers. A couple cans with string between is a very close parallel to Windstream network. Want to know more?
Who's bringing popcorn?
I'll enjoy watching it to the fullest.
