Thread regarding Anthem Inc. layoffs

Anthem does not pay enough so I left

If you are afraid to leave Anthem because you think you have security regarding pay, you are are worth more than what Anthem pays you. I was making close to 75K in my last year at Anthem. I got contacted by a recruiter during that time and offered me nearly doubled the pay to do very similar work. I have been in my new role for almost a year and the paychecks have almost tripled with a salary of 140K.

Did I mention, I am not even a manager yet making the same amount that Directors make @ Anthem.

If you ever want to make 6 figures, leave Anthem. It is for your own benefit.

You lose AIP if you quit before the date AIP is paid.

Will you lose your bonus if you resign too soon before March?

The thought my pat was at market rate after 6 years at Anthem as Analyst earnings less than $80 000 per annum. I spoke to few recruiters recently and they are offering $115,000 upwards for knowing only SQL and Tableau. Will be handing in my resignation the first work day in January.

Confused. If you received double the pay for new role you would have started at 140k or higher. And triple you would now be at 210k. (Math). I no longer work at Anthem, and of course it depends upon the discipline/area but Directors earned in excess of 200k two years ago.
