Let's make money at the expense of cutting employees. Let's not worry about hurting the employees families. We dont care about anything but making the rich richer. Well the wheel has finally turned,With several jobs out there with good pay. NS is now worried about the lack of employees. All I can say is that you've done it to yourself. Why would anyone want to return to have no weekends off. Having to work every holiday. Having to keep looking over your shoulder to see if a company official is hiding in the weeds just waiting for you to do something wrong. NS is ranked #2 for being the worst past to work. Its really sad that the Family Dollar Store is ranked better to work at then NS.

#1 worst for 2021 🤣
Been working nights and weekends since mid 90’s. Doesn’t bother me. I was told at my hiring session this is the lifestyle I will have to follow. What does bother me is the company’s constant violation of our union contract, safety guidelines, and even their own rule book.
That’s exactly why I left and never looking back. Well said
Hey Jimmy if you read these posts can you please take a few executives on the mechanical side with you on your way out.
Artificial intelligence, will save them.
Wow, You mean that if we didn't have our unions negotiating good contracts for us and holding the company to said agreements that we would really have it bad. That's comforting to know.
This ain’t the golden days of Rail Roading anymore where they were the best paying, best benefits, that made up for all the cr-p that went with the job. Plus, new generation won’t put up with layoffs. It’s kinda personal. You lay them off they aren’t coming back. Can’t wait to see how this plays out. Hope they lose all they’ve gained.
Ha you think its really that bad? Try working for a scab RR.
