People who believe it can be fixed amuse me. We're too far gone. Either look for a way out or accept your fate.

Dinosaur company with peabrain management…
"anything promising will be spun off, like Care/AR"
Care AR is a joke! Now burdened further, not that it wouldn't sink on its own, by Docushare etc., that move makes no sense.
"It could be fixed, but it won’t be."
If you are going to start from scratch, it is better to truly start from scratch, not via a legacy company with a bunch of liabilities.
Xerox is toxic , you only realise how bad once you have left . Just like a bad relationship. Management is rotten to the core. The only way xerox can improve is buy sacking everyone and starting again.
Not a dividend eating zombie. But I have a .50 cal for hunting zombies.
I want nothing to do with this carcass of a company. Get as far away as possible, from this organization today.
It is easy to state the obvious that Xerox is dying, I have said so many times on this site, however people's lives are wrapped up in this, all I can say is 'do not settle'
OK that was SJ but he had a point, despite the fact I do not own a single crapple product.
No putting this Humpty Dumpty back together again ..
“Great Carnak” - oh noooo she did n’t! xerox be having the best Boomer fights. Take that you dividend eating Zombie!
Long as we didn’t disappoint you oh Great Carnak. Behold seer of future events and knowledge beyond the stars. Thank you for gracing us with you brief but noticeable presence.
Yep, as I expected, just silly hater comments without anything useful to add. Such a pity.
You are a company man. You just don’t know it yet.
@1dxa+1e6FeAy8, sorry but the stock history says it all. Zerox is a sinking ship. There is no magic bullet: no Docutech, no captive market section or business division, no Ann that will save them.
Depends what you mean by ‘done’. While revenue has & will continue to decline, there is still a long runway of profitability that will be returned through dividend, and possibly equity in any spin-offs. Or appreciation as part of a merger/acquisition.
Will there be some amazing discovery that will rebuild or replace the core printing business? I certainly don’t think so. It’s far more likely anything promising will be spun off, like Care/AR last year and likely 3D next year. It’s difficult for small activities like these to sustain themselves long-term while competing for resources with legacy businesses.
And now a pre-emotive ask to all the haters on this board. Instead of reflexively calling me a “company man” or some such, perhaps try to engage with some substantive thoughts on the subject.
It could be fixed, but it won’t be.
You would have to fire everyone., get another investor who could turn the company around. Find a real product to sell that people really want. And start the marketing of the product to the public all over again. Sooooo…
Guessing No. it won’t be fixed. Not for All the Tea in China buddy.
You gain a mouthful of sand, but that’s about it.
You gain nothing by sticking your head in the sand.
