I left a few months ago, and my new job pays better and I’m not distraught with stress anymore. My new company, we act like adults and we treat each other like adults. Unfortunately at Follett, being a jerk was the highway to success. Cutting costs, you can’t squeeze blood from a turnip, it’s never going to get better folks. It’s time to give up and move on.

There’s never been a better time to leave a lousy job for a better opportunity. Follett’s been in downward spiral for the last 10 years. Just gave my notice on Friday. New job has better pay, better hours, and closer to home. I can’t wait to leave the keys on the desk and say goodbye to Follett for good. If I didn’t care so much about my co-workers, I’d skip out the next two weeks as payback for all of the times that Follett screwed me over.
What is your new industry?

But the family can squeeze blood from us.
