Heard yesterday from very reliable sources that massive layoffs are coming in January. Whether that is via VSPP or RIF's we'll just have to wait and see.... Keeping my fingers crossed!

I took my VSPP in Feb 2018 after 20+ years... life is great.

They have all concentration on the sale! They will not mess with anything that could hurt getting that approved. Nothing will happen till after it is complete

get out people, get out. I left in September 17, best decision I made, (22 + years), no stress my health is back and am so happy. Got a job that pays more and appreciates people and acknowledge you. FYI, when updating your resume, make sure you put that you worked for Centurylink, not Lumen. That is what a recruiter told me, go figure.

The company sold their Clec business. And Latam. Gee, I wonder if they are gonna cut jobs? Really?

Whenever Lumen decides to offer vspp.
They roll the dice to whom, where, and when.

If they were going to it would be now to shore up the Q4 numbers. The amount of people leaving is staggering as it is.
