Farley is not stupid enough, bill though, thats a whole different story. Since one of them has his name on the buildings, well, you know whats going to happen.

I think FMC's management implemented the vaccine mandate to ingratiate themselves with the current administration. Now that the OSHA mandate is suspended, they are probably looking for an excuse to save face. Maybe postponing the return to the office or the new Omicron variant would do the trick. I doubt that even Bill and Farley are stupid enough to lay off thousands of Ford employees just because of the vaccination.

Regarding PS and Agencies, Ford cannot mandate them unless all FMC is declared a federal contractor. As long as the OSHA mandate is suspended, no agency or PS would risk losing personnel by forcing vaccination.

I also believe the current administration would not be pushing back too hard on the suspension. Biden sent it to the OSHA, fully knowing the mandate was going to be stuck in court. He can always blame the Republicans for that, and the unvaxxed for the economy sc--w ups (first rule of politics: blame someone else for your mistakes, especially if they are your opponents).

Either accept the accommodation or give me the termination date. I need it documented and within the personnel file, which I'll need a copy. Either way, it doesn't affect my paycheck. I make just as much outside of the corporation.

Haven’t even received a “ hourly employee decision won’t affect you “ email or one about anything else related to the mandate since November 10.

I'm not playing their game and they can jump through hoops to get rid of me if that's were they want to go with it. I'll keep focusing on & doing the work that I'm employed here to do.

For what it's worth, I've noticed a trend over the last week or so that companies are moving to report the percentage of "employee's fully vaccinated or granted an accommodation" now that the OSHA mandate is on hold (despite begging for it to be reinstated) rather than just those who had the shots.

I actually made up a response on the status survey and uploaded nothing to that site of theirs. So far, nothing from bill's covid enforcement troops.

Seems to me they are overwhelmed and had no idea the magnitude of backlash there would be. I do not believe for a second their 85% vaxxed or whatever number they came up with and are advertising.

I wonder if the covid police is working this weekend or have they just given up?

Depends on what happens between now and January 4. If Ford keeps their policy , leaving.

I see Nancy Pelosi has purchased an oceanfront house in Florida for $25 million. Guess the tax rate and virus situation is better there than in the state and hometown she destroyed.

But they all know what’s best for you !
