Thread regarding UnitedHealth Group Inc. layoffs

Company Is dead silent regarding my religious exemption

I submitted my religious exemption OVER 3 weeks ago now. They said they would make a decision within a “few weeks”. I have ask several others regarding their exemptions and haven’t heard back. Do you think their attorneys are advising them that they are screwed if they don’t approve all the religious exemptions? (Look up DOJ audio leak regarding religious exemptions). Tons of lawsuits would be coming their way. I know it’s all about if they can “reasonably accommodate” and if the exemption doesn’t cause undue hardship. Umm I have been working from home since the start of the pandemic. Furthermore if they really cared about us…why did they force us to go into office last year during the height of the pandemic with the “group A” and “group B” bs while other companies kept their employees “safe”. This is what happens when bat s*** crazy libs run things. Nothing ever makes sense

After over FIVE months of waiting for an answer to my Religious Exemption request, I got finally my answer! My religious rights, endowed by my CREATOR have been ignored and now denied after 5 months of waiting for word from EOHS. Get this, since UHG "forgot" to send me the outcome of my request for Religious exemption to my "correct email address while I on medical leave so I never got the response. I was just left waiting and after calling MANY times, Totally ignored. Odd for me to be denied, don't ya think??? Especially, since I applied for my religious exemption TWO months BEFORE the Biden Adm forced this jab. How does blackmail make sense?
I am on adm leave for one month then will be terminated in one month. I was NOT advised of right to appeal, my religious rights were ignored/- so much for UHG's CORE VALUES. Very disappointed, depressed and worried. No pay and no medical ins for my family.

Mine was temporarily approved stating "this is not a permanent accomindation." and "despite our ability to temporarily accommodate your request for a religious exemption, non-vaccination puts the safety of our workforce and our communities at risk. To decrease this risk, we intend to search for and fill our staffing needs with vaccinated individuals. Your employement is at-will, and you may be replaced at any time, with or without notice."

How could you possibly request a religious exemption and than take it for the $$. SCOTUS has ruled 3 times in favor of mandates teachers, healthcare workers and I think NYC police.

I submitted mine on 10/6/21. I also have heard not a thing. BUT..i received an email today regarding $5000.00 bonus for clinical retention. You must meet certain criteria with the last one being vaccinated. A pathetic joke. They are now trying to bribe us. I need to sign this by 11/30/21, which is also the deadline to be vaccinated. I will not be bribed or coerced in going against my morals & my beliefs.

I have seen the replies they have been sending out. Basically it says, we approved your religious exemption temporarily. This is not permanent, and be advised you are employed at will and we will and can replace you with a vaccinated person anytime we want.

May be waiting to see how many are leaving in general. Also may see what the overall climate now that many businesses are complaining the mandates are going to hurt an already struggling economy.

My get is they turn them all down the same day. Then you better burn all your PTO immediately.

My guess is they already made a decision on everyone’s exemption and want to send out at the same time so people don’t “copy” others. I heard we should find out this week.

I submitted mine 3 weeks ago as well. Crickets. I was wondering the same thing and thinking they likely will not approve any including medical. But wouldn’t that be a violation of ADA and American Civil Liberties Act?
