Thread regarding Anthem Inc. layoffs

Seems like everyone is leaving

Almost all my colleagues are looking for a way to the exit. Some people openly talk about how many applications they have sent.

The atmosphere is such that it looks like everyone is leaving. Not because of vaccination but because people don’t feel good working for this company.

However, it looks like the present situation suits Anthem just fine?

I work at a rival insurance company, same is happening with us. Good luck to the suckers that get stuck doing the work load of 3/4 people!

Insurance employee call out/pto days Nov 12 thru end of Nov. Stand in solidarity with in the industry!

They don't care about any of the employees (associates) just stock holders

“Employers who are losing tenured employees will—in addition to a productivity loss—also experience a disruption in knowledge sharing, mentoring, team effectiveness, and company morale. Not to mention the inherent costs of losing an employee can be up to twice the annual salary of that employee.” ~ they will figure this soon enough

If you are looking to make a job change now is the perfect time! However, be prepared that your workload will not be any less at another company.

I left in July. Best thing I've done in a long time. Awful place to work unless you're someone's little buddy. No possibility for promotion unless you get offered another job, otherwise you're stuck at the same pay grade regardless of how well you perform. Get out as soon as you can.

Vaccination is a big reason why people will leave; they’re just not going to admit it because of this absurd stigma we’ve placed around being “unclean.”
