well the product is really good .. one of the top insurance software in the market. the problem is with who is implementing it .. they are a very expensive implementation partner and the way they are implementing is very bad .. and btw this product was already there in AIG but not for claims ..
AIG has just never been any good at implementing anything. Too many chiefs, SME’s that are too important to share their time and project resources that are too thin with minimal budget to deliver against arbitrary timeframes dictated by senior mgmt. tip for mgmt, fund, scope, schedule properly and then throw your best resources at it. That system has been rolled out to other insurers successfully. Good luck sorting it out!
Duck Creek is a company of its own (listed on NYSE ticker DCT). It is more than just a claims system. It is a company that sells claims systems but has never released a claims system on its own so now we are designing it for them.
Definitely a giant scam going on here across the insurance industry with everyone involved.
Why would they need this when R.Eric designed the greatest ever created claims system on this planet and many others probably? OneClaim to rule them all!
It’s a claims program created and or owned by Accenture
It’s worse than you think. Doesn’t work well, won’t be used globally and it’s fantastically expensive.
Sort of like a software version of Accenture.
This company is on a road to nowhere. Once L&R splits no more support for Commercial when they start losing money again.. if you have an option to move to the new company then I’d consider it.
Complete strong arm by the Business to bring Duck Creek in and the cost continue to rise on this cr-p.
lmao, duck creek is a disaster. there must be some serious kick backs to upper management for buying this garbage.
Just curious, do you handle a pilot state? Is it really worse than the existing system? It's been kept very much behind closed doors with only a demo a very early on in the design stage
