What is the perceived consequences for those requesting to not get the shot, willing to be tested, but still being targeted to be terminated?

This is not about being a baby or fear of the vaccine for the most part. It's the fact that it sets a very dangerous precedent. Keep in mind, this is not one and done. If this flys, you will be required to get yearly vaccinations of whatever the government deems necessary just to keep your job. And these Vax's could be prototypes like the mRNA jab... or they could contain 'whatever' and you would have no say.

And due to precedent, it can go way beyond your job which is already unbelievable in and of itself. Health Insurance, Medicare, Obamacare, Private Insurance can all be denied without forced vaccinations. Social Security payments can be suspended or terminated if not in compliance. Admission into the ER, hospitals or even just getting an appointment with a doctor may be denied. You will need an app and a QR code showing your yearly vax status to attend normal events such as restaurants, shows or even just to get into the grocery store.

If you think this is nonsense, or this isn't coming and coming fast, you aren't thinking... and you better think long and hard about whether you want to be forever forced into this kind of annual intervention just to be able to function in society.

70% of those 18 and over have been fully vaccinated yet 80% of those with COVID are unvaccinated. Look carefully - 80% coming from a pool of only 30% of the population

ya sure...we're starting to see who the real force is behind all the misinformation. Doesn't take a genius to see what is really going on. Even the media is starting to finally catch on.

Remember: do nothing. Dell is not entitled to your medical choices. Don't make their spying on you easier

But if something happens:

File for unemployment
Wait for class action lawsuits
#1 will drive up their insurance costs

But reality is most of us will find better employers

90 calendar days from Dec 9th

while on unpaid leave - will not be paid salary, commissions, etc - but your benefits will be kept intact.

grace period ends March 8th. Will be terminated - but will be marked for rehire - that is actually key to cutting back on lawsuits.

no severance packages

Medical and religious exceptions was added - need to open HR ticket - and request form - have until Nov 8th to send form in.

As my unvaccinated self ponders what to do, the voice in my head keeps repeating the same question. What would Ted Kaczynski do?

you can still spread it even if you're vaccinated....you know.

It's the vaccine's job to keep you safe. Admin that it's an ineffective vaccine if you fear catching the coof even after getting jabbed.

You can find a counterfeit vaccination card if you look for it.

You have a choice to not get vaccinated

Delll has a choice to keep it's workers and customers safe from you.

You're choice.

I bet it doesnt end bad you will get the coivd vaccine or fired.

You are employees and are easily replaceable.

This is going to end badly for Dell.

A lot of people will and should just simply ignore any requests for personal medical information from their employer

No one needs to lawyer up.
It will end up with class action lawsuits.

My take, get the vax or be prepared for the consequences. Your decision how to play the cards. Do you feel lucky? Lucky enough to lose a great job with benefits. Some of you have no idea what the world outside of Dell looks like.

By not getting the shot, at best you’re an expensive liability. You can cry all day about it but at the end of the day, why would anyone want to foot the bill for risky behavior when most people are willing to get it?

Why would the layoff site care about Dells COVID personal employee rules?

The HR email is very vague, but one thing is certain. If you're not taking the shot, you need to let them know by 11/5 or you are in violation of company policy.

Seems like a very round-about/deceptive way of flushing out health information.

No indication of the consequences of the declaration other than...if you got the shot, you're good...the rest of you....fate is uncertain.

It's funny how HIPPA WAS important..now all of the sudden it's not.

Don't fight..because you'll lose....are you a sheep??? "resistance is futile"

Amazing how some have become so lax with their freedom and don't seem to value it one bit, especially when they being forced to comply with handing over personal information and being threatened with their job if they don't

You want to get it, get it...it's a personal choice.

And for those posting that nothing will happen.....tell that to my messed up parents and deceased friend.

We deserve the freedom to make a decision and my medical decisions are none of your business.

Get vaccinated, i.e., get the protection you deserve - and leave me alone.

@nhe+1dvSq5gN is right. They will start vacinating young children soon (5 years old and above). Do you really think -the man- would risk seeing all his future workforce (since all of us are wards of the state) compromised in such a way? Doesn't make $$$ or political sense anyway you slice it.

Just get the damn jab like all the other 2 billion people have around the world... which by the way, have survived and have no side effects what so ever. If the NWO were going to turn people into zombies it would of happened by now somewhere in such a large pool of vacinated people.

You're entitled to submit a religious exemption. This is your First Amendment right. If they deny your First Amendment right, look to the Second for an answer.

We've all taken security training and know that a malicious insider is the most severe threat. Dell now has thousands of them.

That's some nice data you have there. It would be a shame if something happened to it.

Nothing will happen but idle threats. It is a game of chicken and they hope you will flinch.

Dell cannot afford to lose people. No one is kicking down doors to work at dell. Vax mandate for remote employees? Lol. The level of idiocy is awe inspiring

IF they let ppl go watch unemployment insurance costs shoot up for dell.

I'm confused with their strategy. It is overreach and has no material gain for them. A case of virtue signalling run amok

You’ll hear a lot of “get a lawyer! Fight it!” On here, but you’ll lose, and you’ll lose a lot of money on the way. Your call.

Your options are to man up and get the shot (You’ll survive) or go get a job outside of tech. Name a major tech company that DOESN’T have a mandate. You don’t really have any options here.
