Thread regarding Centene Corp. layoffs

2022 benefits - No more low deductible PPO

They are getting rid of the low deductible PPO options for 2022, supposedly to save us money. They are pushing us towards high deductible plans in combination with HSA accounts. What does everyone think about this?

They want us to leave so they won’t have to pay severance or unemployment when they start major layoffs to outsource our jobs to foreign countries, so they can use the good old USA tax dollars to finance their big business and lifestyles… gotta keep shareholders happy on the backs of the middle class workers.

This is the worst thing yet that Centene has done to their employees!!

For a health insurance company to sc--w their own employees out of a quality insurance plan? No more Premier PPO to chose from? ONLY 3 plans now????? Centene better pay attention to how many people are leaving this company for other MUCH BETTER companies.
So the puny 2.5 - 3.5% raises the hardest working employees got will barely cover the increase costs of insurance now.
I am disgusted and I used to be really proud to work here.
