Here for the most part, everyone already thinks that the most important thing is to be among the managers favorites. In that sense Anthem is not much different from other companies I’ve worked for, but it's amazing to me how many people are able to give up their dignity to become a favorite of their managers. It's disgusting. It seems that it is no longer possible with your work and effort to achieve anything unless you are among the favorites?

All these newer leaders will be gone in a couple years. They just don't realize it yet.
Correct! The only way to advance is either move to another area ( you can) or crawl up someone's b*tt. A horrible work environment.

Right people are not in right place (this is almost everywhere). Looking at the current situation , I don't think it will happen anytime soon.
Most of the big heads are playing just a router game and Anthem is filling their packets with nicely along with their vendor contract commissions ;-)
